In the RENEW lab, we use research to help us better understand why we make the eating choices we do. Eating decisions are complicated and often influenced by a number of factors, including our environment, thoughts, feelings, family and cultural norms, and biology. What and how much we decide to eat is closely linked to our health and well-being. For these reasons, our goal is to take what we learn in our lab and develop new and interesting strategies for helping children, adults, families, and communities make healthier decisions.
