Bonnie Schrag, Graduate Student

Bonnie was born in Hamilton, New Zealand but moved with her family to Louisville, Colorado where she spent most of her childhood. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder where she received her B.A. in psychology and sociology as well as a certificate in public health. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a student research assistant and peer-facilitator for an eating disorder prevention program. Upon graduation, Bonnie worked as a Professional Research Assistant for the Renée Crown Wellness Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder where she co-developed and implemented the Mind. Body. Voice. Program, an eating disorder prevention program geared towards young girls and women. Bonnie is a PhD student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Oregon and is excited to continue engaging in research focused on disordered eating prevention, weight stigma, and body image, particularly among underserved communities. In her free time, Bonnie loves hiking, skiing, reading, and cooking.
